A McAfee update musht have enabled the anti-spam scanning of outgoing email fearute. It is now May 2021, and this much older than four-year-old problem has cropped up again.

IВ have done bothВ a quick, then a full repair of Office 365 (which basically reinstalls Office 365), but the problem still persists. It must be deleted and recreated before it is capable of being sent. Once a message gets to the state where it cannot be sent, I cannot just open it and re-send it to the outbox. I have to transmit after every message I send to the outbox. When I send the second message to the Outbox it is ready to transmit (See screen shot below).ДЄnother symptom, If I continue to add messages to the outbox, only the last one will be transmitted. Sending the first message to the Outbox, the message is not ready to transmit. If, however, I send a third message to the Outbox, the icon on the second message will change and it will not be ready to transmit, but the third message will be ready to send.ДЄs an illustration I created two test messages, test 1 and Test 2. After sending if I send another message to the Outbox, it will also transmit. When I send a second message to the Outbox, it is ready to be sent. It has that icon at the left end indicating that the message is not ready to be sent. The problem is that when I send the first message to an empty Outbox, it cannot be transmitted. When I hit send the message goes into the Outbox waiting for me to hit вЂSend/Receive AllвЂ™.

Could have been after a McAfee update, but cannot iknow for sure.ДЇirst, I do not have the messages set to send immediately upon sending to the Outbox. Earlier in the day all was well, then it started happening.

All ran well for about a week or so, then this problem popped up. I recently installed Office 365 on a new Dell XPS8930. Disabling the McAfee addin gets rid of the problem.ДЄ little background. I have an odd problem with Outlook that is related to the McAfee Addin. Running Windows 10 Pro version 1803, Office 365 Home version 1808. Running McAfee Total Protection all up to date.
